Biography
Austin P. Booth is an associate attorney in the Greenville, South Carolina office, where he focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation. Austin regularly handles high-stakes shareholder disputes and complicated business breakups at both the state and federal level. He also handles real estate development and construction disputes, zoning and land use issues, and high-value estate and trust contests.
Austin graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He then earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law. During his time in law school, Austin interned with the Investor Rights Clinic, where he participated in a mock FINRA arbitration and presented at the 2022 SEC Investor Advocacy Clinic Summit. He also served as a Member of the University of Miami Business Law Review, won the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Mergers and Acquisitions, and won the Dean’s Certificate of Achievement in Insurance Law.
Prior to joining GWB, Austin gained valuable experience in a law firm setting, where he handled complex litigation matters. He was responsible for drafting dispositive motions, drafting and responding to discovery, handling post-trial motions, and addressing appellate issues.
In his free time, Austin enjoys hiking, reading, watching college football, and spending time with his fiancé.
