Ian G. Conits

Partner

Biography

Ian Conits is a partner based in the firm’s Greenville, South Carolina, office. He is a litigator who works with individuals and corporations to develop tailored strategies for complex matters. He regularly handles complicated business disputes with an emphasis on high-stakes business breakups as well as contentious, high-value estate and trust contests.

Ian is also one of a small number of firm e-Discovery attorneys. His experience in this area can, and often does, eliminate the need to hire separate counsel to address e-Discovery issues present in almost all litigation matters.

Prior to joining GWB, Ian served as a judicial law clerk under the Honorable Letitia H. Verdin, as an Assistant Solicitor for the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit Solicitor’s Office, and as a Special Assistant United States Attorney for the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of South Carolina.
