Biography
Lane C. Gardner is an Associate in the firm’s Charlotte, North Carolina, office. Her practice areas include civil litigation at the state and federal level.
Before joining GWB, Lane served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Augusta Judicial Circuit, where she represented the State of Georgia in grand jury proceedings, pre-trial matters, trial, and sentencing of criminal defendants. She also served as an Accountability Court prosecutor for the Augusta Judicial Circuit’s Adult Drug Court, Mental Health Court, and Veterans Court. Prior to that role, Lane was a Judicial Staff Attorney at the Superior Court of Columbia County, where she supported the Honorable Sheryl B. Jolly and the Honorable J. Wade Padgett. During law school, Lane gained legislative experience as a law clerk for the South Carolina House of Representatives.
Lane is a Rock Hill native who enjoys traveling with her husband, Thomas, and their two yorkies. She is an avid patron of performing arts and enjoys reading thriller novels. Despite the heartbreak, she spends her football season cheering on the Gamecocks.
