Biography
Paul Henry “Bubba” Philpot is an associate in the firm’s Greenville, South Carolina, office. He focuses his practice on defending workers’ compensation claims.
Prior to joining GWB, Bubba gained experience in workers’ compensation defense and civil litigation at several area law firms working as a summer associate and in corporate legal internships. Bubba holds a B.A. in Mass Communications from the University of South Carolina and earned his Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2024. Bubba also previously served as a mayoral aide to Greenville Mayor Knox White and interned on Capitol Hill, where he gained valuable experience in both the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives.
In his spare time, Bubba enjoys staying active by working out and playing tennis, as well as spending quality time with his family and friends. A food and coffee enthusiast, he loves exploring new restaurants and coffee shops around the downtown and greater Greenville area. Despite the occasional heartache, he remains a dedicated supporter of the South Carolina Gamecocks.
