Biography
Robert “RJ” Lee is an associate in the firm’s Columbia, South Carolina, office. His practice areas include all aspects of insurance.
During law school, RJ gained valuable legal experience as a law clerk for several area firms, where he researched bankruptcy, foreclosure, contract, property, and family law. An externship with Duke Energy Corporation gave RJ the opportunity to focus on regulatory law, eminent domain, and complex litigation proceedings. As a research assistant for the Rule of Law Collaborative, RJ worked on international law projects and helped develop training programs for the State Department and DOJ. Notably, his work included collaborating with the Ukrainian legal community on international law research related to their ongoing conflict.
Robert has a passion for history, enjoys hiking, fishing, and reading, and is an avid South Carolina football fan. A proud son of South Carolina, RJ is deeply committed to using his legal knowledge to serve the people of his home state and strengthen its legal community.
