His primary legal practice focuses on defending workers’ compensation cases on behalf of employers, insurance carriers, high retention and self-insured corporations, third-party administrators and claims servicing agencies.  Throughout his legal career, Cory has defended a wide variety of clients and industries, but he frequently represents clients in the following industries:

  • Assisted Living Facilities
  • Trucking and Transportation
  • Staffing and Employment Agencies
  • Manufactures
  • Retailers

Cory has extensive experience defending his clients in a diverse array of workplace injury cases.  Many of these claims include:

  • Issues Involving Medicare’s Role as a Secondary Payer

Client service is a prominent piece of Cory’s law practice.  He has seen firsthand the stress and impact workplace injuries have not only on injured workers, but also the employers who have employed these injured workers over the years. Understanding that personalized service and attentiveness is a crucial component of the attorney-client relationship, Cory tailors his approach to defending cases based on each client’s specific needs and risk management philosophy. This is why Cory works diligently and communicates regularly with each client throughout the nuances of the workers’ compensation process to achieve outcome-based results.  He underscores this effort by being detail-oriented, proactive as it relates to case resolution, and consistently responsive to any questions or concerns his clients may have. Cory feels strongly that this efficient and team-based approach to defending workers’ compensation cases goes hand-in-hand with achieving favorable outcomes for his clients.
