H. Mills Gallivan Awarded Richard T. Boyette Award

Gallivan White Boyd is pleased to announce that Partner, H. Mills Gallivan, is the 2022 recipient of the Richard T. Boyette Award for Outstanding Contributions to the National Foundation for Judicial Excellence.
The Boyette Award is the highest award bestowed by the NFJE and is presented to a person who has:
- Demonstrated a commitment to excellence in judicial education;
- Shown exceptional creativity and dedication in program development;
- Excelled in fundraising activities on behalf of NFJE; and
- Exemplified professionalism in promoting the case for a well-educated, independent judiciary.
NFJE President, Thomas Ganucheau, noted that “Mills exemplifies the commitment, dedication and professionalism for which the award was created. He has served tirelessly for the NFJE and has demonstrated a true commitment not only to the NFJE, but also to the fulfillment of its mission of promoting a well-educated and independent judiciary.”
Mills served as President of the NFJE in 2012-2013, and as Chairman of the Board of Directors in 2013-2014. Mills is currently the Immediate Past President of Lawyers for Civil Justice. Mills is also a past President of the South Carolina Defense Trial Attorneys’ Association and the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel (FDCC).
