John “Jay” Jones Honored as 2025 Power Player by SC Lawyers Weekly

A partner in the firm’s Charleston office, Jay is an experienced civil litigator who represents individuals, businesses, and professionals throughout South Carolina. He focuses his litigation practice on serious personal injury and wrongful death, business and commercial disputes, products liability, professional negligence, and construction defect claims.
In 2025, Jay was inducted into the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals (NADN) for his work as a certified mediator. He is also a member of the South Carolina Bar, the Charleston Bar Association, the Defense Research Institute (DRI), the International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC), and the South Carolina Defense Trial Attorneys’ Association (SCDTAA).
